Updates on GLECC2025
Dear GLECC Proceedings Site Users,
We are delighted to share some updates and information with you regarding the upcoming GLECC 2025 Conference.
First and foremost, we extend our sincere thanks to all of you for your interest and engagement. To date, the GLECC Proceedings platform has welcomed over 100 registered users and received more than 90 tangible submissions from 33 countries and regions. We are truly encouraged by your enthusiasm and contributions.
The Organising Committee and its submission evaluation working groups have been working diligently to provide timely feedback to the authors. This is to support prospective attendees with their travel plan and event preparation. Two batches of acceptance notifications and registration instructions have already been sent on 23 March and 2 May 2025. The third working group meeting is scheduled for 27 May, after which decisions on all remaining submissions will be communicated. We are pleased to confirm that, despite extending the submission deadline to 18 May at the request of contributors, the review process is expected to be completed on or before the originally scheduled date.
Exciting developments include the confirmation of two keynote speakers and the acceptance of a large-scale, high-profile panel proposal. Additionally, DOIs and ISBNs for the conference proceedings have been prepared. We very much look forward to welcoming you to Manchester this summer.
We kindly ask that all accepted authors complete the registration and submit their final “camera-ready” versions including names and affiliations, using the provided template as soon as possible. This will allow the organising team more time to deliver a well-coordinated, enjoyable, and enriching conference experience for all.
Please note that while abstracts and papers included in the conference proceedings undergo rigorous evaluation and/or review, they will not be subject to further editorial revisions. As such, we strongly urge all authors to carefully review and proofread their final submissions.
We also wish to express our gratitude to those who have registered as reviewers on the Proceedings site. Abstracts are evaluated by designated working groups of the Organising Committee, and full papers are reviewed by 2 committee members or experts they recommend. Therefore, we have not involved you in the review process this year. If you are interested in serving as a reviewer for future conferences or associated journals, we encourage you to update your user profile with your bio, ORCID ID, homepage, and a brief statement expressing your willingness to participate in review work. AT Publishing is committed to supporting academic development and is working toward offering recognition and rewards for reviewers, committee members, and editors.
Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards
Karen Wang
